FairRentHQ Privacy Policy
FairRentHQ operates with client-side zero-knowledge architecture. None of your income, rent, or lease financial inputs are transmitted or saved.
Our zero-knowledge data architecture
FairRentHQ runs 100% client-side. When you enter income figures, room square footages, rent targets, or roommate names, those numbers are processed locally on your own computer or phone. We do not store or transmit your financial inputs to any server.
1. Shareable links and browser storage
When you generate a shareable roommate calculation link, your inputs are encoded into the URL hash fragment. That fragment stays inside the browser of anyone who opens the link and is never recorded in server access logs.
2. Cookies and Google AdSense compliance
We utilize Google AdSense to serve advertising that funds our free tools. We support Google Consent Mode v2 and respect user privacy selections across the EEA, UK, and California.
3. Contacting our privacy team
